Covid-19 : Staying fit While Practicing Social Distancing

Like every other aspect of our lives, the Covid-19 pandemic and the social distancing/lockdown/quarantines (whatever stage your community is in) has affected how we stay fit. The solution is trivial for those of us who have exercise equipment at home but it isn’t trivial for those of us who do not have the luxury of exercise equipment at home. China, especially the Wuhan province has been in lockdown a lot longer than the rest of us have been. There is an amateur marathon runner there who runs in his living room. That is pretty awesome isn’t it ?One of the things that are safe right now is going out in nature. So, if you live some place where you have access to safe trails, safe woods, safe nature hangouts – you can take advantage of those by simply running outside or going on walks etc., However, do remember to still follow social distancing protocols. Do not go to these places when its crowded or if you are unable to maintain the CDC recommended distance of at least 6 feet from other human beings.Some other options to work out are working out at home – pilates, yoga, kettle bell or dumb bell or resistance bands workouts.
